Nau Mai, Haere Mai ki aku pikitia. Welcome to my homepage. My name is Seas Cookson, and I am a student at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. You can see some of my artwork around. The designs are Maori (The indigenous people of New Zealand), they are a mixture of traditional and contemporary designs and colours.

I study Anthropology and Sociology at University. How I came to the designing field is a long story, I worked as a signwriter for many years with my father, and got proficient at using Corel Draw, and last year I studied Te Reo Maori, which encompassed Art, Song, History, Language, this is when I started my designs with a Maori Kaupapa.

I am more than happy to design logo's, pamphlets, pictures, posters, illustrations, for free, because I am relatively inexperienced, and I wish to promote Maori art as much as possible.

I am constantly upgrading these pages, and am in the process of putting stories, and the concepts and meaning behind each graphic I have designed, a bit about my Iwi, Hapu, Whanau, and friends.
